Erin is a Sorrel/Flaxen Sabino, registered MFT mare by Perfection's Black Gold.
She is 13.3 hands and has a lovely, natural foxtrot and had already produced 2 terrific, foxtrotting mule foals for us.
After doing some searching, I found many Perfection bred MFT's to be under 14.2 hands. Considering Erin's history as
far as foal sizes, I feel she will really be an important foundation mare for the MFTPR. This little mare has an
excellent temperament and the "go" in this mare is terrific. I've come to love her smaller stature on trail rides as
well as her willingness to work for me. You never have to urge this mare to go, just ask and you get it everytime.

I didn't breed Erin right back as I wanted to first see what we were going to have out of a cross to a pony. Sure
wish I had but my better judgement was firm. Now that I know what a successful cross this was I plan to breed Erin back
to Studley in early spring 2009. I don't plan to keep all of the ponies we produce but I may keep the pony long enough
to train to ride and/or drive before selling.
I have had so many inquires and mostly for older, well trained ponies and well, folks, that's a tall order from a registry
that only started in 2004. There will be a wait but I can guarantee the wait will be worth it. If you just "can
not" wait, I do have friends that are also raising the MFT Ponies and started a year or more before we did so please ask even
if I don't have what you're wanting. I also come across nice ponies elsewhere too so you never know. Let me track
down the pony you need.
